Privacy statement

What happens to your data when you visit this site, use the chat, email us, try the demo or become a customer.

Version 1.0 of 28 October 2026

Who we are

Superota is a product of Strila. Strila is responsible for the processing described on this page.

Strila is the sole proprietorship of Daniel Philipsen, Boterdiep Wz 9, 9785 AJ Zuidwolde, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 34334823. Send questions about your data to hello@superota.eu.

This site

superota.eu loads everything from its own server, including the typeface. The site does not measure visitors and sets no cookies.

For every visit the web server writes a log line with your IP address, the time, the page you request and your browser. We use these logs to keep the site secure and available. The server deletes them automatically after 14 days.

When our security detects an attack, the attacker’s IP address goes to CrowdSec in France, which keeps a shared list of known attackers.

The chat

The chat answers questions about Superota with Claude, an AI model by Anthropic. Answers can contain mistakes and the chat makes no decisions about you.

Your conversation lives in your browser tab (sessionStorage) and disappears when you close the tab. With every question, the whole conversation goes to our server at chat.superota.eu and from there to Anthropic, which writes the answer.

Our server keeps no conversations. It counts the number of questions per day and what they cost. To limit abuse, it also counts how many questions arrive per IP address. For that it uses a code derived from the IP address that expires every day. The code is only held in memory.

Anthropic is based in the United States. We use Claude under Anthropic’s commercial terms, with a data processing agreement and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (SCCs). Anthropic does not train its models on what you type in the chat. How long Anthropic keeps the data is set out in Anthropic’s privacy center.

So please keep personal details out of the chat. If you would like us to contact you, email hello@superota.eu.

Email to hello@superota.eu

When you email us, we receive your name, your email address and what you write. We use them to answer your question or handle your request.

Mail is stored with Cirrux (Werk Slim B.V., Hilversum) on servers in Frankfurt. Claude by Anthropic helps us read and answer mail and sees your name, email address and message while doing so. Training models on this data is switched off.

We keep your email for as long as the contact, or the work that follows from it, requires.

The demo

demo.superota.eu and the four demo addresses below it show fictional businesses. The demo is for trying things out, so please do not enter real data.

Every night at 04:30 we reset the demo to its starting point. The demo sends no email and processes no real payments.

The demo sets functional cookies. They keep track of your session and protect the forms.

Like this site, the demo servers keep a log line per visit for 14 days.

When you become a customer

For the agreement and the invoices we process your company name, the name and email address of your contact person, your billing address and your VAT number. We keep invoices for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires.

Subscriptions run through Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Dublin). Stripe processes your payment details, such as your IBAN or card number, under its own privacy policy and also sees your name and email address.

Data in your own environment

A customer keeps bookings, guests and staff in its own Superota environment. That data belongs to the customer: the customer is responsible for it and Strila processes it on the customer’s behalf.

If you are a guest or an employee with a question about that data, please ask the business you book with or work for.

Who receives your data

These parties receive data from Superota. Your data never goes to advertisers.

Why we may do this

  • Logs and security: our legitimate interest in a secure, available site.
  • The chat: our legitimate interest in answering visitors’ questions.
  • Email: our legitimate interest in replying to you. For a request, it is the steps towards an agreement.
  • The demo: our legitimate interest in showing how Superota works. The cookies are needed for the demo to work.
  • A subscription: performing the agreement. We keep invoices because the law requires it.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data. You can also ask us to restrict processing, object to processing or send you your data in a file you can use elsewhere.

Send your request to hello@superota.eu. We reply within one month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

When something changes in what we process, we update this page. The date of the latest version is at the top.
